C4 Land Partners is a land investment company run by a mother-daughter team based out of southwestern Colorado. We are passionate about the freedom land ownership provides, and are humbled to have the opportunity to help others find the perfect properties.
Mackie Cates
Mackie is a part-owner of C4 Land Partners and serves as a Sales Partner for the company. She has her B.S. in Psychology and her passion is connecting clients with land that suits their needs and will help them fulfill their dreams.
Mackie has worked with a broad range of businesses, from farmers markets to Bernedoodle breeders, and has even spent time in the non-profit sector. Her experience working in a Montana homeless shelter is part of why C4 Land Partners donates 5% of every sale to charity.
When she isn’t on the phone with clients or listing vacant land, Mackie can be found in the mountains with her black labs, Indie and Valkyrie, or in the field working on her family’s ranch.
Gretchen Chapman Cates
Gretchen is a part-owner and an Acquisitions Partner here at C4 Land Partners. She is passionate about helping land owners part with unwanted land in order to make room for whatever matters most to them.
Gretchen has her B.S. in Chemistry and Biology and has a passion for learning that continues to serve her well. She has 4 amazing children and runs the day-to-day operations of Cedar Springs Ranch, in addition to her role at C4 Land Partners. Gretchen has a knack for turning every stranger into a friend and is the cheerful voice you hear on the other end of most phone calls.
When she isn’t searching for our latest acquisition, Gretchen can be spotted hiking, camping, and enjoying the beautiful mountains of southwestern Colorado.
